Small Garden Birds

• Great Tit – Larger than the blue tit, with a striking black head and white cheeks.

• Coal Tit – A small, quick-moving bird with a black cap and white patch on the back of its neck.

• Marsh Tit – Similar to the coal tit but with a more rounded head and softer coloring.

• Long-Tailed Tit – Tiny, fluffy, and often seen in small, chattering groups.

Finches & Sparrows

• Chaffinch – A colourful bird with a pinkish chest and bold wing markings.

• Goldfinch – Striking with its red face and bright yellow wing bars.

• Greenfinch – A stocky greenish-yellow bird, often seen cracking open seeds.

• Siskin – A small, streaky green and yellow finch, particularly fond of sunflower hearts.

• Red Poll - A small, streaky finch with a patch of red on their forehead

• Yellow Hammer - A colourful, sparrow-sized bunting that can often be spotted singing from a high perch
